KNOW Jesus Personally
1. Believe that God exists and that He came to earth as a human in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9)
2. Accept God's free forgiveness of sins through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-10, 1:7-8)
3. Switch to God's plan for life. (1 Peter 1:21-23; Ephesians 2:1-5)
4. Express desire for Christ to be director of your life. (Matthew 7:21-27; 1 John 4:15)
PRAYER FOR ETERNAL LIFE WITH GOD
Dear God, I believe You sent your Son, Jesus, to die for my sins so I can be forgiven. I'm sorry for my sins and I want to live the rest of my life the way you want me to. Please put Your Spirit in my life to guide me. Amen.
REMEMBER: THE WORDS ARE NOT SOME MAGIC FORMULA. IT IS SINCERE BELIEF THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE!
THEN WHAT?
If you have sincerely taken the above steps, you automatically become a member of God's family of believers. A new world of freedom and strength is available through prayer and obedience to God's will. You can continue to build your relationship with God by taking the following steps:
- KNOW God more by worshiping Him regularly;
- GROW in your relationship with
God, understanding of His word and how it applies to your life by joining a
Rock Point Church Home Group; and
- GO serve God by getting
involved with a Rock
Point Church
ministry and then working to guide other people to Christ.
