RPCFamily exists to partner with parents as they guide their children towards a fully engaged relationship with Jesus in which they KNOW Jesus personally, GROW in Biblical community and GO live generously.

RPCFamily encompasses the environments that serve children and students from 6-weeks old through High School age.  Through our RPC Family Ministries, children and students participate in age-appropriate and engaging environments where they can grow in their relationship with Jesus, connect relationally in community, and learn to share Jesus with others.

RPC Family Ministries rely on the truths taught in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 because these words so powerfully demonstrate God's plan for the spiritual formation of families. This scripture emphasizes that a child's spiritual growth requires parents to focus on two primary areas:
  • Teaching their children how to love God by loving God in front of them; and
  • Intentionally impressing the commands and truth of God on their children in everyday life.
Although God's plan involves the church and family working together to form the spiritual foundation in a child's life, He intends for parents to be a child's primary faith influencer. RPC Family Ministries believes it is their responsibility to come alongside and Equip, Empower, & Encourage parents in this important role. The Family Ministry Team considers it a privilege to partner with parents as children are taught about the life, love and legacy of Jesus Christ.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 (NLT) "Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
