The mission of Rock Point Church is to Glorify God by fulfilling our Mission to guide people into a fully-engaged relationship with Jesus.  A  fully-engaged follower of Jesus is someone who commits to: KNOW Jesus Personally; GROW in Biblical Community; and GO Live Generously.

Our vision is to be a healthy and balanced church where the lost can find their way, the hurting can find relief, the lonely can find a friend and everyone will find hope.

Because we value biblical authority, relationships, intentionality, simplicity and humor, we create environments that attract unbelievers and encourage believers, while limiting the number of programs offered so people have time to not only serve God, but also grow in their relationship with Him and others, to make room for life, and reach their neighbors for Jesus.

BIBLICAL AUTHORITY - We value the anointed teaching and application of God’s Word. It is the catalyst for continual authentic life transformation and spiritual growth in people’s lives.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  -2 Timothy 3:16-17

RELATIONSHIPS - We value living life together as REAL PEOPLE experiencing REAL LIFE, connecting with people as they are and where they are, emphasizing God’s amazing grace, unconditional acceptance and full forgiveness through Christ. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere heart, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.  -Acts 2:44-47
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.  -Hebrews 10:25

INTENTIONIALITY - We are intentional about Glorifying God. We purposefully go about our work to create environments that attract the unbeliever and encourage the believer to continually grow in their faith. Our ministries are aligned to according to our simple KNOW – GROW – GO strategy. We constantly evaluate forms and methods, seeking cultural relevance and maximum ministry effectiveness.
I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.  -John 17:4

SIMPLICITY - We strategically limit the number of programs offered in an effort to remain simple. We want you to have time to not only serve God, but also grow in your relationship with Him, to make room for life and even meet your neighbors!
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.  -1 Corinthians 14:33

HUMOR - At Rock Point Church we love to laugh. Humor is infused into all our programs and ministries. We create environments that are filled with the JOY of the Lord and His people having fun worshiping and serving Him.
