Pastor Bill Bush has been in full-time pastoral ministry for over twenty years, the first ten years in Youth Ministry, followed by two years in Family Ministry and then planting Rock Point Church as Lead Pastor in 2001. He has a Bachelors Degree in Bible and Christian Leadership and is only six units shy of completing a Masters Degree in Adult & Family Ministries. He has a passion for leadership, and his expertise in leadership development is often sought after by both faith-based and secular organizations. Pastor Bill married his wife Carrie on June 6, 1992 and they are the proud parents of three children, Micah, Jadon and Sarai.

Dr. Randy Deal was born and raised in Stockton, California, where he accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of seven and has served in lay ministry since age twelve. In 1985, he graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of the Pacific in Stockton as a Doctor of Pharmacy. After completing his Residency in Clinical Pharmacy, he joined the pharmacy staff of St. Joseph’s Regional Health System, completing his time there as the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Services in 1998, when he left his Pharmacy Career to pursue full time ministry. He served as the Executive Pastor and Worship Leader of South Shores Church in Monarch Beach, California for three years, until the summer of 2001, when he and his family moved to Gilbert, AZ to help plant Rock Point Church. His second doctorate degree, a Doctor of Ministry, is close to completion. Randy married his wife Dena on September 22, 1989 and has six adult children, Jennifer, Bethany, Jaye & Nicole, Jared and Randy Jr, and one grandson, Levi.

Kim Hill has been on staff at Rock Point Church since April, 2007 and this is her first ministry position.  Kim has an extensive background as a senior executive within the non-profit sector, and prior to coming to Rock Point she oversaw University Development at San Diego State University.  Kim graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Business Management and has a minor in Human Resource Management.  Kim has a special place in her heart for both abuse survivors and animals - especially her horse and three dogs.  She also enjoys hiking, reading, and is an avid football fan.

Amber is a wife and mother of two. She has a passion for reading, running and dark chocolate. She is currently a college student completing an Associate of Science degree, and plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Amber loves managing people information and assisting with processes at Rock Point that ensure that each individual is moving along in their spiritual journey to KNOW Jesus personally, GROW in Biblical Community and GO Live Generously.

Gary and Elaine Norton have served in full time ministry for 30 years. They come to Rock Point with a personal passion to see people grow in wholeness, healing and health. Their desire is to come along side others and together experience God's extravagant love in a such a way that they are free to live authentic, vulnerable, grace-filled lives.

Jackie has been married since 1985 and she and her husband Larry have two adult sons. Jackie graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She worked as a Probation Investigator directly out of college. After raising her children, she went on to assist her husband in his Safety Consulting Company. She has always jumped in to ministry in every church she has attended and each time has been blessed. Jackie’s passions include hanging out with family and friends and a pot of coffee, critiquing movies, and spending time on the beach. She and her family have been members of Rock Point since 2002.

James accepted Christ at the age of 27 and was baptized as a true follower of Jesus.  He has been an Elder at Rock Point since 2004 and was licensed as a Pastor in 2005.  He and his wife, Karen, are empty nesters, with four grown children and nine grandchildren.  James is known around church as “Buggman” and will quickly answer to that name!  He functions in the gift of prophecy, meaning he has a deep devotion to Biblical principles.  He is highly relational and loves to challenge men to be strong spiritual leaders of their home.  His most often quoted phrase is; “have you prayed with your wife today?”

Jessica is a wife and mother of four. In 2009, Jessica felt God calling her to use her lifelong passions for creative productions and art to produce environments in which people can better connect to and experience God in a relevant and life-changing way. When she's not caring for her family, she can usually be found leading the Creative Programming of Rock Point's adult worship services.

Judy Johnson joined RPC as the office manager in February 2007. Rock Point is the capstone to her 35 year career that has included management/sales roles in everything from weight loss, to heavy equipment, to cell phones. Judy is the proud mother of 3 adult children and 5 beautiful granddaughters. Her favorite thing to do besides serving as the resident grandmother to the RPC staff, is mucking stalls, playing ball with her dog and getting her hands dirty in her yard.

Karen was saved at the age of 22 and has served the Lord in various ministries within a local church throughout her walk with Him.  She is the wife of Pastor James Bugg, mother of four grown children and grandmother of nine. Because of her spiritual gift of prophecy, Karen has a deep desire to teach and encourage others in the principles and promises of God’s word and to lead people to the saving knowledge of His truth.

Laura has been happily married to Jimmy since April 2004 and they have two children, Sophia and Olivia. They have been attending Rock Point Church since 2005. Laura graduated from Austin College in Sherman, TX in 1997 with a double major in Business Administration and Spanish. Serving through this ministry is natural for Laura. Her passion is to see people get connected here at Rock Point and more importantly to Jesus!

Matt is a native to Arizona and has been married to Lynn since 2007. They have two adorable daughters, Kelly (born in September 2009) and Amelia (born in June 2011).  They also have two lovable dogs: Jack (a street dog who adopted them) and Devin (a goofy, rescued greyhound runt). Matt has been involved in technical ministry since elementary school when he started volunteering at Bethany Community Church. After high school he worked in corporate production and continued to volunteer at church.  After the family landed at Rock Point, he began running audio as a volunteer and eventually joined the staff. Matt has an ever expanding vision and works passionately to continue taking production at Rock Point to new levels.

Roger has been a professional therapist since 1966. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University, and has a Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology from Trinity International University. Before moving to Arizona, Roger was in private practice and is currently a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. His clinical experience includes treating adolescents, families and individuals. He provides Biblically-based, Christian counseling for a variety of needs, including Individual Counseling, Marital Therapy, Family Therapy, Adolescent Counseling and referrals to other resources for issues such as Grief, loss and trauma for Women & Children (ages 11 and under), Neonatal loss & infertility issues, Pain from family issues, and sexual/physical abuse. On October 8, 1983 Roger married Donna and they blended their families with their combined four children. He loves aviation, working out and biking. Roger’s passion is helping people grow spiritually.

Shawna Meek is married to a wonderful man named Kevin, and they have three pretty neat kids, Connor, Tyler and Katelyn, that all participate in our Family Ministries. In 1994, she graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Though she does have the opportunity to use her varied experience in elements of her role on staff, she feels more blessed to be able to serve God with her passions. Shawna deeply desires for our Automated Check-In Process to be welcoming and secure, so that those attending can grow in their faith and community. She considers it an honor to be on staff at Rock Point Church.
